Octopus and seaweed salad

The octopus and seaweed salad is a refreshing and healthy option, perfect for the summer months. Ideal as a cold tapa for bars or as a light dish, this salad combines the unique texture of octopus with the marine flavour of various seaweeds.

Ingredients

  • 250gr octopus
  • 30gr wakame seaweed
  • 30gr hijiki seaweed
  • 30gr dulse seaweed
  • 30gr red tosaka
  • 30gr white tosaka
  • 8gr extra virgin olive oil


Step-by-Step Instructions

For the octopus:
  • Wash the octopus.
  • Place onto a perforated tray.
  • Select the smart selection: Seafood – Octopus – Steamed – Whole.
  • Cut into slices for the salad.
For the salad:
  • Wash and cut all the seaweeds and vegetables.
  • Mix the sliced octopus with the seaweeds and vegetables in a large bowl.
  • Season to taste with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.
